about

Track was written on the day of the tragedy in 2001.

lyrics

September morning without a warning
there's a thunder in the sky as the metal birds fly
toward their final destination
shaking down a nation to its very foundation
Soon afterwards, down in the city
thousands of lives lay wasted in the dust
no longer could they breathe, no longer can we trust
the world is in a mess, we've got to confess.
The wrath of a demon came upon us
and we fear that an even greater one might come
by the law of the gun, as the victims cry out
for revenge is in the air without a doubt.
This grim situation causes massive frustration
cause the enemy is willing to die on the fly,
kiss the whole world good bye, he's got nothing to loose
no matter which weapons we choose.
The ones who've got something to loose are we
who believe in the spirit of democracy
but where the sky turns black and the anger runs red
the consequence is innocent bloodshed
World peace -depends on human dignity
World peace - we've got to show integrity
World peace - we do not want to escalate
World peace - instead we need to concentrate
Not to far a way on the same day
a baby girl is born in the heart of the City
to a family of Muslims and I pray that the baby won't pay
for the atrocities committed on that very day
We are the children of a recent incarnation
we've got to look out for our future generation
so let us re-invest in human the education
instead of sending bombs to their final destination
The peace, love, health and prosperity
that we human beings long for so desperately
the universe will grant naturally
in return for the rise of human dignity
World peace -shine a light for those who hurt
World peace - uplift those who live in the dirt
World peace - learn from your own history
World peace - share your love for the world to see
The root of all evil in society
is much too complex for anyone to see
rooted in the shady past of history
to this day preventing us from truly being free
But do not be mistaken there is something you can do
you can weed out the hate when it passes through you
Put a little love in everything you do
and one day that love will come back to you
Share your love for the world to see...
